Our Unity Band!
For more information, please email our Music Director, Kiley Coyne.
The Unity Band is a Christian rock band that plays every Sunday at the 9:45 service.
With acoustic guitars, bass, drums, piano, electric guitars, various string and wind instruments, and up to nine singers, this group adds an electric sound to the many other traditional musical offerings in the highly diverse Unity service. All types of music are celebrated in this service!
The Unity band features one particular instrument that is somewhat unusual for any rock band...the pipe organ plays on every song and is a key part of the group's sound.
The purpose of the Unity band has always been to support and reflect the Christian message and mission of Sioux Falls First United Methodist Church.
