First Steps "Musicality"

All children ages 0 - 3 years and their caregivers are invited to this event!

Musicality is a child's natural ability to express themselves through music. Musical experiences can help children develop in many areas, including:

  • Creativity

Children can explore different sounds, rhythms, and melodies to express themselves.

  • Motor skills

Children can develop gross and fine motor skills by clapping, dancing, and playing instruments.

  • Language and literacy

Children can learn language and literacy skills through songs and musical mnemonic devices.

  • Memory and learning

Children can improve their memory, learning, and ability to apply knowledge.

  • Emotions

Children can learn to regulate their emotions and relieve stress through music.

  • Confidence and self-esteem

Children can feel proud and accomplished when performing music, especially in a group.

  • Brain development

Children's brains can develop faster, especially in the areas of language acquisition and reading skills
